MURRAY Wallace is set to replace the suspended Shane Ferguson in Millwall’s Wednesday-night clash with Luton Town.
Ferguson serves a one-game ban for two yellow cards in the 1-1 draw against Huddersfield Town on Saturday.
Otherwise boss Neil Harris could name the same side that drew at the John Smith’s Stadium.
Jon Dadi Bodvarsson was set to train today after illness kept him out at the weekend.
“He’s had a rough few days, the poor lad,” Harris said. “He’s on the training pitch today so we’ll have to see how he goes.”
Former Lions midfielder Ryan Tunnicliffe should start for Luton, who won 2-1 at Blackburn on Saturday. Tunnicliffe, who made 59 Millwall appearances, has played over minute of Luton’s league campaign this season.
Harris added: “It’s the same as when we talk about every player that has played for us, you want all of them to go and do well.
“It will be nice for Ryan and the boys to see each other. I’ll see him after the game.”
Luton are above Millwall in the table on goal difference.
“It’ll be competitive and I think it will be fast and furious at times, but Luton play really good football,” Harris said. “There will be a really hot atmosphere. I do expect there to be challenges but there will be a lot of good football played as well.”
Hatters boss Graeme Jones has a full squad available after Andrew Shinnie and Martin Cranie returned to training.
Possible Millwall team: 4-4-1-1: Bialkowski; Romeo, Pearce, Cooper, M Wallace; J Wallace, Leonard, Williams, Mahoney; O’Brien; Smith.
