Family Storytelling Day in Rotherhithe
Two local parents are joining an international line-up of storytellers at a free family event in Southwark Park.
Peckham-based storytelling company, London Dreamtime, is putting on a day of free storytelling led by artists from as far as Sierra Leone and Pakistan.
Southwark Park’s Family Storytelling Day will give the chance for families to experience different stories and cultures played out in front of them.
The storytelling will take place in a magical tent next to the Moreton Terrace entrance of Southwark Park, close to the playground and cafe. You can come for an hour or stay for the day. A BSL sign language interpreter will be available, the event is wheelchair accessible.

Mind and Body Festival in Camberwell
Cleanse your mind and feel good at this day event on Camberwell Green, with free food, yoga and a lively outdoor exercise class.
Camberwell’s Feel Good Festival will have something for everyone this Saturday. Get fit and active with live music and exercise with Shake da Brass and roller skating, or gentle chair-based yoga and Chi Kung.
Enjoy a free Community Kitchen feast from Spring Community Hub, plus children’s tasty treats workshops, face-painting, henna tattoos and local choirs.
