Another 15-year-old boy has been charged with the murder of 16-year-old Teon Campbell-Pitter in New Cross.
This is the second boy to be charged with Teon’s murder and police said this morning that “detectives are not seeking any further suspects”.
He was arrested on Monday and charged today (Tuesday April 19) to appear before Bromley Magistrates’ Court later this afternoon.
The other defendant, also aged just fifteen, appeared before magistrates yesterday charged with murder and possession of a bladed article, he was remanded in custody to appear at the Old Bailey this Thursday, April 21.
Both boys are too young to be named.
Teon Campbell-Pitter died after being stabbed last Wednesday, April 13. Police were called at 4.06pm to a venue on Angus Street, following reports of a fight in progress.
Teon from Lewisham was found at the scene close to Fordham Park with stab injuries.
Officers responded with the London Ambulance Service and London’s Air Ambulance. Despite, the paramedics’ efforts, he was pronounced dead at the scene.
