A teenager has been fighting for his life after a “stabbing” on a train at Cutty Sark Station.
Police were called to the scene at around 5.30pm on Sunday, December 17, following reports of two teenagers suffering stab wounds.
Both victims were rushed to hospital. One was said to be in a life-threatening condition following an injury to the thigh.
The other suffered a “severe wound to the hand”, British Transport Police (BTP) said.
A BTP spokesperson said yesterday (December 17): “It is believed that an argument took place between four people on the DLR train whilst they travelled between Greenwich and Cutty Sark station, where both the two victims and two suspects got off.
“Were you travelling on the DLR train between Greenwich and Cutty Sark station earlier this evening? Were you at Cutty Sark Station at around 5.30pm this evening?”
Anyone with information is asked to contact BTP by texting 61016, or by calling 0800 40 50 40, quoting reference 420 -171223. Alternatively, you can contact Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
