Martin Grover, Norwood’s erstwhile artist-in-residence, says this of the forthcoming exhibition: “I know this sounds like a top firm of lawyers but we are in fact, an esteemed trio of artists. We may not be able to offer you any judicial insights but we can provide you with some very fine paintings and prints. I’m really pleased and excited to be exhibiting alongside these friends and fellow artists, @marielenclos_painting and @stevewildeprints.”
Painter and screen printer, Martin Grover creates images of elegiac tree stumps, old 45s and is still in the process of designing a logo for the South London Procrastination Club (SLPC).
Marie Lenclos’ oil paintings are contemplative. Intensifying colours and removing traces of people and activity, they allow the observer to contemplate the interplay of colour, light and form in the physical environments we inhabit.
Steve Wilde‘s work flits between textured abstract paintings and colourful graphic prints…and a few places in between.
