The Old Dairy Health Centre’s garden open day saw a stream of patients visit the new community space to find out more about how they can get involved.
The GP Surgery on Rosendale Road has turned its outdoor space into a community garden, which they hope will be enjoyed by locals – including those without a garden of their own.
The volunteer gardening group, which is looking for more members, has been busy tending to the vegetable plots and developing recipes for their home-grown produce.
Volunteer Deborah Hyde told the News: “Support from the local community has included a small grant of £200 from the Dulwich Society, which we were all thrilled about.
“We are now planning another, autumnal-themed event toward the end of September — watch this space!”
