A 36-year-old man was stabbed in Brixton in the early hours of Bank Holiday Monday (August 28).
Both the victim and a 20-year-old man have been arrested. The victim’s injuries are not life-threatening or life-changing.
Met Police officers were called to Loughborough Road, near the junction with Evandale Road, at 5.23am to reports of a stabbing.
They found a 36-year-old who’d been stabbed. Paramedics treated him at the scene before taking him to hospital.
Police said their enquiries are ongoing.
A Met Police spokesperson said: “At around 05:23hrs on Monday 28 August officers were called to reports of a stabbing on Loughborough Road SW9.
“Officers attended the scene and found a 36 year-old man who had been stabbed.
“The London Ambulance Service (LAS) treated the man on scene, and then took him to a local hospital.
“The victim was later arrested, as well as a 20 year-old man. The victim’s injuries are not life threatening or life changing. Enquires are ongoing.”
