GILLINGHAM have signed former Millwall attacker Lee Martin.
Martin, 29, has signed a two-year deal with Justin Edinburgh’s side following his release by the Lions.
Former Manchester United player Martin joined Millwall from Ipswich Town in July 2013 and went on to make 69 appearances for the club.
But he featured just 21 times under Neil Harris last season and spent time on loan at Northampton in League Two.
Martin told Gillingham’s official buy levaquin website: “I’m delighted to be here. I spoke to a lot of the players, especially Wrighty (Josh Wright) and the manager, and they were both brilliant.
“The manager and I hit it off straight away, he sold the club to me. He’s got lots of ideas about the season ahead, he wants me to show my experience in the changing room and help the other lads.”
