MILLWALL have announced that Matthew Sidman has been appointed as a new non-executive director.
A club statement put out this afternoon explained that “the Boston-based American has extensive experience in finance and real estate and will contribute alongside John Berylson and all other directors in working towards short, medium, and long-term objectives as part of the club’s overarching strategic vision.
Berylson went on to say that “Matthew is someone well known to and respected by my family and I, and I’m delighted that he has agreed to join the club in this capacity.
“He is incredibly enthusiastic about his new involvement with Millwall and will further enhance the Board’s collective knowledge and expertise across a wide range of matters and initiatives.
“Each season we try to make progress on and off the pitch and Matthew’s appointment to the Board is testament to that given the benefits his directorship will have for the club in the weeks, months, and years ahead.”
