SHAUN Hutchinson has returned to the starting line-up for the first time in 13 games ahead of Millwall’s game at Ipswich Town tonight.
The club captain picked up an injury away at Birmingham at the beginning of September and has been handed a tough assignment on his first game back.
He replaces Jake Cooper who had started all of Millwall’s last 59 Championship games.
The switch in defence is one of two changes for the Lions with Aidomo Emakhu also replacing George Honeyman.
The 20-year-old started back-to-back games under caretaker boss Adam Barrett – who celebrates his 44th birthday today – and impressed in the 1-1 draw at Preston North End.
Goalkeeper Matija Sarkic is also back on the bench for the first time after an extended spell out injured.
Meanwhile, hosts Ipswich have made three changes from the team who lost 2-0 at West Bromwich Albion on Saturday.
Manchester United loanee Brandon Williams and centre-back Luke Woolfenden drop out from the defence for Harry Clarke and Axel Tuanzebe while Jack Taylor moves aside for former QPR midfielder Massimo Luongo.
There are no changes among the front four with high-scoring Ipswich having dangerous attacking players like Marcus Harness, Dane Scarlett, Freddie Ladapo, Kayden Jackson and Chelsea loanee Omari Hutchinson among their substitutes.
Ipswich have the best home record in the division and have won seven and lost one of their eight games, scoring 25 goals in the process.
They last lost at Portman Road in August when Leeds United took a 3-4 win. Millwall last lost away from home in August when they were defeated 3-1 at Norwich.
Travelling fans are best advised to make sure they’re in their seats by kick-off – Ipswich have conceded in the opening 15 minutes of their last five games.
