A thirteen-year-old boy was stabbed following a “disturbance” involving numerous people in Bermondsey.
The child was rushed to hospital with a “serious knife injury to the hand” on Saturday, March 9, but his condition was not life-threatening.
Two males were arrested on suspicion of possessing an offensive weapon and have been bailed until early June.
Police were called to Alscot Way at 9pm that evening following reports of a disturbance involving a large number of people.
Met officers and London Ambulance Service attended and found the boy suffering a serious knife injury to the hand.
A Met Police spokesperson said: “Two males were arrested on suspicion of possession of an offensive weapon – they have been bailed pending further enquiries to a date in early June. Enquiries into the circumstances continue.”
