A theatre in Bermondsey is hosting a pantomime based on a popular children’s book written by a famous comic.
After a successful run in 2021, Julian Clary’s adaptation of his Sunday Times best-selling book, The Bolds has returned to the Unicorn Theatre for Christmas.
With music and slapstick, the story – part of a seven-book series – follows a family of hyenas living in Teddington, where Clary himself grew up.
Combining live music and songs by Julian Clary and Simon Wallace, The Bolds revels in the joy of being anything but ordinary.
How long can they keep their beastly secret under their hats? Join Mr and Mrs Bold and their twins Betty and Bobby as they navigate work, school and friends whilst trying to keep up their disguise.
Julian Clary’s series of children’s books has sold over half a million copies worldwide.
