A man who was seen bleeding on a bus travelling toward Crystal Palace has been urged by police to come forward after witnesses claimed he told them he had been stabbed.
Witnesses said last night, on Thursday, July 11, at around 9 pm, a man got off the number 3 bus at Gispy Hill who appeared to be bleeding.
As he left the bus he told a passerby that he had been stabbed and was going to a friend’s house for help.
The man, who was between 30 and 40, around 5 ft 7, and wearing dark jeans and a baseball cap, got off the bus at Gispy Hill.
He was last seen walking into the Salter’s Hill entrance to Norwood Park.
Officers have been unable to locate the man, and say he did not seek medical treatment.
