Three people have escaped a fire in Peckham that damaged a four-storey flat conversion.
The London Fire Brigade (LFB) was called to the property on Asylum Road shortly after 11pm on Wednesday, November 29.
The LFB had extinguished the fire by 12.16am on Thursday, November 30.
Crews from New Cross, Peckham, Old Kent Road and Deptford fire stations attended the scene.
Four fire engines and around 25 firefighters tackled the blaze.
The cause of the fire is under investigation.
An LFB spokesperson said: “Four fire engines and around 25 firefighters tackled a fire on Asylum Road in Peckham.
“Part of a flat, in a four-storey house converted into flats, was damaged by fire. Three people left the property before firefighters arrived.
“The Brigade was called at 2311 and the fire was extinguished by 0016. Crews from New Cross, Peckham, Old Kent Road and Deptford fire stations attended the scene.
“The cause of the fire is under investigation.”
