JIMMY Abdou is calling on Millwall fans to provide the same passionate support that has helped them reach the League One play-off final.
Lions supporters packed out the away ends at Bristol Rovers and Scunthorpe and inspired their side to get the results they needed to set up a promotion decider against Bradford on May 20.
Some fans spilled onto the pitch after the second and third goals in the 3-2 win over the Iron in the second leg of their play-off semi-final.
Millwall have been allocated 37,623 tickets for the final, with the Bantams given 38,000.
“Millwall fans are very passionate, we saw that in the last few games,” Abdou said. “They pushed us, they always play their part that way and have a hand in our results.
“We are the ones on the pitch but we need them to perform, they give us the extra energy and inspiration. We’re going to need that Wembley.
“We’re going to need them to push us over the line and help us to achieve what we set out to achieve at the start of the season.”
