IT was a night to forget on Tuesday as Millwall were beaten 5-1 at Peterborough United.
This weekend, the Lions will look to make it eight home wins in a row, as one of the favourites for promotion, Sheffield United, visit The Den. NewsAtDen spoke to Matt Bassett to get the inside track on the Blades…

What made you become a Sheffield United supporter?: In Sheffield, you are either born a Blade or an Owl – there’s no middle ground. Fortunately for me, I was raised to support Sheffield United, a club that has a great history and tradition.
According to the bookies, Saturday’s game pits the title favourites against the second favourites. Do you feel the Blades and Millwall deserve such a pedestal?: After six seasons in League One and the start we have had to the current campaign, I would have to say no. However, the size of the club and its fan base will always see us as one of the favourites.
Both sides suffered heavy defeats in the week. Is this game – where both sides will be looking for a reaction – perhaps a watershed moment in both clubs’ seasons already?: It could well be! I haven’t seen much of Millwall this season, but judging on last season I think you will be in the mix come the end of the current campaign. After not quite the start to the new season under Chris Wilder that many expected, I think we may see a change in the starting XI and possibly formation this weekend.
Which players will we need to watch out for on Saturday? You have ex-Lion Martyn Woolford among your ranks, how has he been getting on at Bramall Lane?: I don’t think Martyn Woolford will feature Saturday – he is currently out of favour at Bramall Lane. I think Matt Done, deployed in the right way, can be a real threat and Leon Clarke will always be a handful.
Finally, a score prediction?: Millwall 1-1 Sheffield United.
