Police have charged two people with murder after a man was stabbed to death near the Old Kent Road.
Carlton McCloud, 47, was found injured shortly after 6.50am on Tuesday, January 9.
Matthew Henry, 39 (06.12.84) of Coopers Road, Bermondsey and Nicole Quamina, 34 (27.06.89) of no fixed address have been charged with murder.
The pair were scheduled to appear in custody at Bromley Magistrates’ Court on Saturday, January 13.
Police were called to the scene following reports of an injured man on January 9.
Despite emergency services’ best efforts, Carlton died at the scene.
His next of kin have been informed and are being supported.
A post-mortem examination found the cause of death to be sharp force trauma to the chest.
Two others have been arrested on suspicion of murder as part of the investigation.
On Tuesday, January 9, a 54-year-old man and a 38-year-old woman were arrested and have since been bailed.
