Some 25 firefighters rushed to a fire that broke out in Herne Hill over the weekend.
Part of a flat on the upper ground floor and part of a flat on the first floor of a converted house on Dulwich Road were damaged by the fire on Saturday afternoon (November 13). Two people left the building before firefighters arrived.
There were no reports of any injuries.
A resident heard a bang and saw smoke before discovering the fire. They left the building and called the fire brigade at 4pm.
Fire crews from Brixton, Clapham, West Norwood and Peckham fire stations were at the scene. The fire was under control by about 6.30pm.
The cause of the fire is under investigation.
