ANDREAS Voglsammer has left Millwall by mutual consent and is set to join Hannover 96 on transfer deadline day.
The move comes with the club believed to still be in the market to land new players to beef up their squad.
Voglsammer arrived at the club last August from Union Berlin and has made 45 appearances for the club.
He has also came off the bench in the last two games against Norwich City and Stoke City, which proved to be his final appearances in a Lions shirt.
The 31-year-old scored three goals during his time at Millwall, including in back-to-back games against Reading and Swansea City in March.
He is now expected to return to Germany after a single season at The Den after his contract was mutually terminated by Millwall.
The forward has played in his native Germany for most of his career, including spells at clubs like Arminia Bielefeld and Heidenheim 1846.
Hannover 96 currently play in the second tier of German football.
Voglsammer told the club’s website: “If I return to Germany, then only to a club whose path and prospects I am 100 per cent convinced of. The year in England in particular was a formative time for me, in which I learned a lot.”
