ADAM Barrett believes Zian Flemming’s work rate is “as high as its ever been” at Millwall.
The Dutchman has hit his stride in recent weeks and looks on the road to emulating his outstanding debut season at The Den.
Flemming has now scored in three away games in a row after netting in the 2-2 draw at Watford on Saturday.
The 25-year-old’s good form comes after a summer of intense transfer speculation linking him with a move to Premier League Burnley.
Caretaker manager Barrett told NewsAtDen: “He had a difficult summer with everything that was going on. We’re trying to get him into more dangerous areas on the pitch where he can be really effective.
“I’ve been delighted with his work rate and his off the ball stuff over the last three games. I think his physical output has been as high as its ever been since he’s been here.
“And he’s getting in some dangerous positions again, which is great. He can score goals, we know that, so it’s good to see. His attitude has been excellent and he’s knuckled down really well and it’s nice to see him in dangerous, goalscoring areas and if you can get him in there enough times, he will score goals.”
